Dehradun, April 10 -- Serious irregularities have been alleged against a former computer operator of the Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation (Uttarakhand Van Vikas Nigam) in Haldwani. A departmental inquiry has found him guilty of tampering with biometric records, generating fake bills to embezzle government funds, creating false emails and filing fabricated complaints. Following these revelations, the administration has lodged a case against him and demanded strict action against him.
The Van Vikas Nigam has now registered a case at Mukhani police station against former computer operator Mahendra Singh Bisht, who had earlier worked under the corporation. The police have initiated investigation after the complaint was filed. Accordi...
