Eight pilgrims injured on Badrinath Highway as Tempo Traveller overturns

CHAMOLI, 6 Jun: Road accidents on the Badrinath Highway continue unabated. A tempo traveller carrying pilgrims overturned between Hanuman Chatti and Binakuli, leaving eight passengers injured while others escaped safely. This accident happened on Saturday. the vehicle, bearing registration number UP-15 ET-1020, was returning towards Rishikesh after pilgrims had completed darshan at Badrinath Dham.
According to reports, the tempo traveller suddenly went out of control and overturned on the road. At the time of the accident, sixteen pilgrims including the driver were on board.
