Dehradun, 14 Jan: Director General of Police Deepam Seth paid a courtesy call on Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) at the Lok Bhawan, here, on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the DGP briefed the Governor in detail about crime control and the law and order situation in the state. Discussions were also held on technology-driven policing, the use of Artificial Intelligence, cyber security, and preparations for the upcoming Kumbh Mela.

In addition, the DGP apprised the Governor about various important initiatives related to strengthening police training, capacity enhancement of the SDRF, disaster management, rapid emergency response systems, and public safety.
