Dehradun, 18 Aug: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan today conducted a review of the functioning of the Medical Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Departments at the Secretariat. During the meeting, he assessed the current status of health and medical education in the state and issued directions to ensure quality treatment and better health facilities for the public.
He instructed that all the district hospitals and major sub-district hospitals must obtain accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) by 31 March 2027.
