Dehradun, March 31 -- Senior journalist Sheeshpal Gusain was among the eminent writers who were honoured today by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at a function organised by Bhasha Sanshtan, While highly eminent writers such as Jiten Thakur and poet Buddhinath Mishra received their awards for their long time contribution to the world of Hindi literature, senior journalist Sheeshpal Gusain has been conferred the prestigious Uttarakhand Sahitya Gaurav Samman and honoured with 'Dr Pitambar Datt Barthwal Award' for his outstanding contribution to literature. Gusain received a cheque of Rs 1 lakh, the emblem of the Bhasha Sansthan and an angavastra.
