Dehradun, 29 Aug: A major mishap occurred near Sahiya at Lalpul in Chakrata this morning. A Tata Tiago car bearing registration number DL9C 8092, carrying tourists from Delhi, Noida and Varanasi, suddenly went out of control and fell into a ravine about 35 metres deep. The accident created panic at the spot and local residents immediately informed the police.

On receiving the alert, a team of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) led by Sub-Inspector Jaspal Singh rushed to the site along with local police.
