Dehradun, 7 Sep: BJP's Scheduled Caste Morcha today organised a one-day protest across all the district headquarters in Uttarakhand, highlighting issues of social harmony, equality and respect for every section of society. In Dehradun, the demonstration was held at Gandhi Park where the BJP workers and people from different communities participated in large numbers. The protest was held to counter the Congress march also held today in Dehradun over the issue of alleged insult to the Dalits.

Speakers at the protest said that social respect, equality and harmony are not matters confined to the politics of any single party but are linked to the democratic values and social fabric of the country. Th...
