Dehradun, 8 Jan: Urmila Devi, village pradhan of Gram Panchayat Banali, has written a letter to Tehri MLA Kishore Upadhyaya, seeking his help and intervention for the inclusion of Gram Panchayats Banali, Pasni and Ghudsal in the Tehri Assembly constituency and Tehri Tehsil in place of Dhanolti, citing practical, geographical and administrative reasons.
In her letter, the gram pradhan has stated that the said gram panchayats are currently part of the Dhanolti Assembly constituency, although in practical terms they are geographically closer and administratively more connected to the Tehri region.
