Dehradun, 19 Feb: In yet another significant achievement of the Department of English, School of Languages, Doon University, Akshat Kala, an undergraduate student, has received an offer to pursue Children's Literature at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, with a full scholarship commencing from September 2026.

The Department of English had introduced Children's Literature as a Discipline Specific Elective (DSE) specialisation, and Akshat has been a part of the first cohort to study this area under the BA Honours with Research programme.
