99 per cent SIR forms digitised in U'khand, 8.41 lakh voters fall under uncollected category

DEHRADUN, 4 Jul: Addressing a press conference at the Media Centre in the Secretariat here on Saturday, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande said the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is being carried out across the State with July 1, 2026, as the qualifying date. The distribution and digitisation of enumeration forms, which had begun on June 8, is scheduled to conclude on July 7. It was also shared that Uttarakhand has digitised nearly 99 per cent of voter enumeration forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, and that the exercise is progressing rapidly ahead of the publication of the draft electoral rolls on July 14.
