Liberia, April 6 -- Nimba County Senator Samuel G. Kogar, District Number 3 Representative Nehker Gaye and District number 2 Representative Nyah Garsaye Flomo over the weekend led a high-level engagement with AFCONS Infrastructure Limited Workers in Sanniquellie City, Nimba County.

The intervention followed recent protests against the company management, which led to the arrest and detention of several employees.

Presided over by Senator Kogar, the hearing allowed aggrieved workers to outline key concerns: allegations of illegal dismissals, excessive Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) Tax Deductions and Unsafe Drinking Water linked to illnesses.
