Liberia, March 31 -- Maifrance Solar Limited has announced a landmark leadership transition, as founder James K. Smith hands over the reins to his wife, Linsay K.N. Smith.

This historic development positions Linsay as the first woman to lead a solar energy company in Liberia-a move advocates say could help reshape the industry's business landscape.
