Monrovia, Sept. 18 -- Liberian striker Van Dave Harmony made a promising competitive debut for Eagles Football Club in the Dhivehi Premier League, helping his new team open the season with a 3-1 victory at the National Football Stadium in Male on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Harmony, who recently joined Club Eagles, played 89 minutes in his first official league appearance and provided a vital assist as his side secured all three points in their campaign opener.

"Yes, I played my first game, which was also the club's first league match of the new season," Harmony said. "We won 3-1, and I had an assist while playing 89 minutes."
