Liberia, Sept. 9 -- The appointments strengthen an institution the government is counting on to turn the country's cultural, historical and natural assets into a larger source of jobs, investment and economic growth.

Monrovia - President Joseph Nyuma Boakai on Tuesday commissioned three deputy directors-general of the Liberia National Tourism Authority, completing the senior leadership structure of the relatively new agency as Liberia seeks to give tourism a more prominent role in its economic development.
