Monrovia, Jan. 16 -- Traditional and local government authorities in Grand Cape Mount County have praised the Matambo Construction and Mining Cooperative (MUTACCO) Inc. for launching the county's first construction and mining cooperative, describing it as a major boost for local employment and development.
The official launch took place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Jenewonde Town, Meimassa Clan, Tewar District. The event drew community leaders, cooperative members, and residents from across the district.
Speaking at the ceremony, Paramount Chief Mustapha Paasewe of Tewar District welcomed MUTACCO's presence in the county, noting that the cooperative would help create construction-related job opportunities for skilled Capemountians.
