Monrovia, Aug. 9 -- Reports have emerged that Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Sylvester Grigsby, has died. Minister Grigsby had been out of the public eye for some time due to illness, though it remains unclear what condition he was suffering from.
While the government is yet to issue an official confirmation, unconfirmed reports suggest he was flown abroad for medical treatment.
Grigsby was among the first officials appointed by President Joseph Boakai in 2024. He previously served as Minister of State during the administration of former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
This is a developing story. Further details will be provided as they become available.
