PARIS, France, Aug. 28 -- A Maryland County Senator, who chairs the Liberian Senate Committee on Executive and serves as ranking member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, has held separate engagements with officials at the Liberian Embassy in Paris and leaders of the Liberian community in France.

According to a release, the Senator visited the Embassy of Liberia in Paris on Thursday, where he was received by Liberia's Ambassador to France, Dr. Teeko Tozay Yorlay, Sr., and members of the diplomatic staff.

During the meeting, the Senator commended Ambassador Yorlay and the Embassy staff for their service to Liberia, particularly the sacrifices and challenges associated with representing the country abroad.
