Monrovia, Sept. 29 -- The Liberia Football Association (LFA), in collaboration with FIFA, will today dedicate three new football facilities in Nimba, Montserrado, and Margibi Counties as part of efforts to expand football infrastructure across the country.

The main facility to be inaugurated is a FIFA-standard pitch in Gompa, Nimba County. Funded through the FIFA Forward Program, the project began on November 4, 2024, and includes floodlights, an underground sprinkler system, inner fencing, and a roofed spectator stand. The LFA says the Gompa facility will host both league and grassroots competitions.
