Liberia: LDEA Dismisses Claims OIC Biago Received Pickup From Alleged Drug Trafficker
Monrovia, Aug. 7 -- The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has rejected allegations that its Officer-in-Charge, Deputy Commissioner of Police Fitzgerald T. M. Biago received a Toyota pickup truck from an individual allegedly linked to drug trafficking.
The allegations were made by political activist Martin K. N. Kollie, who claimed that the LDEA chief received benefits from individuals connected to an alleged cocaine trafficking network.
In a lengthy social media post, Kollie further alleged that George Wha Harris, also known as Leroy Harris, who has been charged in connection with an ongoing narcotics investigation, maintained relationships with senior security officials, including Biago.
