Monrovia, Oct. 15 -- The Auditor General of Liberia, P. Garswa Jackson, Sr., has been elected Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI) for a two-year term.
Auditor General Jackson was elected unopposed by twelve of his counterparts during the Third Meeting of the ECOWAS Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI), held in Accra, Ghana, from October 7-11, 2025. He succeeds the Auditor General of Ghana, Hon. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu.
During the meeting, Auditor General Jackson delivered a presentation on the establishment and implementation of an Audit Follow-up Mechanism by the General Auditing Commission (GAC).
