Monrovia, Nov. 14 -- Twelve individuals, including the Imam of the Red Light Central Mosque, who were arrested in connection with Thursday, November 13, violent resistance of Civil Law Court Eviction order, have been formally sent to court following their arrest during the court-ordered eviction in Red Light-Parker Paint Community, Paynesville.

The incident occurred as officers from Civil Law Court "B," supported by armed police, attempted to enforce the eviction of occupants against a man named Keita, who claims ownership of multiple stores and a mosque within the disputed property.

Resistance escalated into chaos, with stones, cutlasses, and petrol bombs reportedly used against security personnel.
