Liberia, March 30 -- Grand Gedeh County is set to celebrate one of its own, Liberian music star SIO, in a special ceremony this Monday at 2 p.m. at the Zwedru Administration Building.

The event comes as part of efforts by the county administration to promote local culture and support young Liberian talents.

Speaking during SIO's visit to Zwedru, County Superintendent Alex Grant said, "Under our ARREST Agendas for Inclusive Development, we are here to promote culture and our young talents.

It was a pleasure to see our own musician visiting the county. Since the war ended, this is the first time a Grand Gedean musician is being recognized among his peers, becoming a shining example of our style and talent."
