Global Governance Initiative: Towards a More Inclusive and Equitable Global Order
Liberia, Sept. 18 -- Introduction
The twenty-first century is characterized by rapid globalization, technological advancement, economic transformation, and increasing interdependence among nations. At the same time, the world faces complex challenges, including armed conflicts, climate change, poverty, inequality, food insecurity, public health emergencies, terrorism, economic instability, and the rapid development of artificial intelligence. These challenges do not respect national borders and cannot be effectively addressed by individual countries acting alone. They require cooperation, dialogue, coordination, and collective action at the international level.
