MONROVIA, Sept. 18 -- The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has received a major boost for its new headquarters project with a donation of 100 bags of cement from exiled Liberian activist Martin K. N. Kollie.

The contribution, valued at US$800, brings Kollie's total support to 150 bags of cement, worth US$1,200. The donation fulfills a pledge he made to the Union, following an earlier gift of 50 bags.

In response, the PUL expressed gratitude to Kollie for what it described as his unwavering commitment to the project. His support comes as the Union celebrates its 61st anniversary under the theme: "Commemorating Our Past, Constructing Our Future."
