President, PM meet Indian Foreign Secretary as Sri Lanka, India review key bilateral projects
COLOMBO, Aug. 5 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya on Wednesday (5) held separate talks with Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, reviewing bilateral cooperation, ongoing development projects and future collaboration in areas including energy, trade, education, technology and security.
Misri is on his first standalone official visit to Sri Lanka since assuming office as India's Foreign Secretary.
During his meeting with President Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat, discussions focused on strengthening the longstanding partnership between the two countries and accelerating cooperation across priority sectors.
