COLOMBO, Oct. 16 -- Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya met with India's Minister of External Affairs, Dr S. Jaishankar, in New Delhi on Thursday (16), marking a key engagement during her first official visit to India since assuming office.
During the meeting, both sides discussed India's continued support to Sri Lanka and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of education, technology and capacity building. Strengthening institutional partnerships and expanding training opportunities for Sri Lankan students and professionals were also highlighted as shared priorities.
