COLOMBO, June 7 -- A group of 39 Sri Lankan Civil Service officers successfully completed an advanced capacity-building program on disaster management at the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), as part of an ongoing India-supported initiative to strengthen Sri Lanka's public sector capabilities in disaster preparedness and resilience.

The two-week program, which concluded on Friday (5), focused on enhancing the skills of government officials involved in disaster preparedness, response, recovery and resilience-building efforts.
