India, Oct. 22 -- Actor Vijay Deverakonda told Karan Johar that he had previously spoken about love with “disrespect and disbelief,” but said his relationship with Rashmika Mandanna changed his outlook, as discussed during their first joint appearance on Koffee With Karan season 9.
Shift in outlook on love
Vijay Deverakonda said that for years he did not believe in the concept of love and viewed anything that diverted attention from his career as a distraction.
He said that looking back at his interviews, he had spoken about love “almost with a sense of disrespect and disbelief,” calling that attitude “immature.” He added that he felt “clouded” by ambition and focused on “career and money and growth.”
