India, Aug. 14 -- Tyler Duckworth, the two-time winner of MTV's The Challenge, has died at the age of 44, with his mother confirming that the circumstances surrounding his sudden death remain unclear. Duckworth died on August 11 in North Dakota, according to authorities.

Mother Confirms Death

Duckworth's mother, Joni, announced his death in a Facebook post on August 13. She said the family was still awaiting answers about what happened and had not yet determined arrangements for his services. The official cause of death has not been established.
