India, Oct. 5 -- Turkish actors Emin GunenC and Ilsu Demirci have opened up about the physically demanding shoots, emotional challenges and unexpected international success of their romantic revenge drama Arafta, which is now being broadcast in 28 countries, including India's growing market for Turkish series.
Filming in freezing conditions
In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Demirci recalled filming difficult scenes during the show's first season, including a graveyard sequence and a pool scene that tested her endurance. During the pool shoot, she had to remain tied up in freezing water from early morning until evening.
