India, Aug. 12 -- Tiffany Haddish avoided further jail time on Tuesday after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor alcohol-related driving charge stemming from her 2022 arrest in Georgia. The actor and comedian entered the plea by video and was sentenced to 12 months of probation.
2022 Georgia Arrest
The case dates back to January 2022, when police in Peachtree City responded to a 911 call reporting a driver asleep behind the wheel at a traffic light. Haddish was subsequently arrested and faced multiple charges connected to the incident.
As part of Tuesday's resolution, Haddish received credit for the brief period she had already spent in custody following the arrest. Other charges in the case were dropped under the plea agreement.
