India, Aug. 25 -- The first teaser for Netflix's upcoming Korean period drama The Scandal introduces a tense romantic wager involving Son Ye-jin, Ji Chang-wook and Nana, as desire and deception collide in Joseon-era society. The series is set to premiere globally on September 18.
Son Ye-jin Leads a Forbidden Game
Son Ye-jin plays Lady Cho, a gifted noblewoman whose ambitions and desires are constrained by the rigid social order of Joseon. Rather than accepting the limits placed on her, she becomes the driving force behind a dangerous game involving romance, manipulation and reputation.
