India, Feb. 17 -- On October 19, Sunny Deol announced his upcoming film, Gabru. The film is described as a story of courage, conscience and compassion and is expected to be one of Deol's most emotional roles. While it was earlier announced that Gabru will hit cinemas on March 13, a recent report shared that it has been postponed to May 2026.

Variety India reported that Sunny Deol's Gabru is now scheduled for a May 8 theatrical release. Previously, it was set for a March 13 release. With the new release date, Gabru smoothly avoided the box office clash with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Yash's Toxic, which are releasing on March 19.
