India, Sept. 4 -- One of the most widely awaited Kannada films on OTT is, undoubtedly, the superhit Kannada comedy Su From So, written and directed by Tulu artiste JP Thuminad and produced by actor-filmmaker Raj B Shetty. The film, which hit theatres on July 25, after a round of paid premieres across cities in Karnataka, became a runaway success, solely on the strength of positive word-of-mouth from these shows. The Kannada original film made it to the Rs 100 crore club, while the Malayalam dubbed version also received love. Su From So didn't work in the Telugu belt, though. Su From So is said to have ended its theatrical run with a worldwide gross in the range of Rs 120 cr to Rs 125 cr.
