India, Aug. 7 -- Kannada actor-filmmaker Raj B Shetty has always been clear that he's not a fan of remakes or sequels, especially of the kind of films he makes, as they are very rooted to a particular region and culture. He resisted the urge with Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana, which was not even dubbed in another language, while Toby got a Malayalam theatrical release. His latest, Su From So, which Raj has served as producer, lyricist and actor, is the directorial debut of his long-term collaborator, JP Thuminad.
