India, Aug. 11 -- Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Brand New Day continued its record-breaking run in India despite a sharp slowdown on its second Monday, adding 7.60 crore net on Day 12 and taking its domestic total beyond 423 crore. The film has also crossed the 500 crore gross mark in India.

Second Monday sees steep decline

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the superhero film recorded 7.60 crore net across 12,765 shows on its second Monday, with overall occupancy at 38.6%. The collection represented a 78.1% decline from the 34.70 crore net earned on its second Sunday.
