India, Aug. 5 -- Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Brand New Day has rewritten box office history by becoming the second fastest film ever to surpass the $1 billion global mark, trailing only Avengers: Endgame. The superhero blockbuster achieved the milestone within six days of its theatrical release.
Record Breaking Global Run
The latest Marvel and Sony collaboration has collected an estimated $1.05 billion worldwide, including around $407 million in North America and $645.8 million from international markets. The film's pace has placed it just behind Avengers: Endgame, which remains the fastest movie to reach the billion dollar milestone after earning $1.2 billion during its opening weekend.
