India, Sept. 15 -- Sonu Nigam surprised audiences at his US concert by performing Shah Rukh Khan's Aaj Ki Raat in both male and female voices, with a video of the performance quickly drawing attention online.
Sonu Nigam's unusual rendition
The singer performed the track during his The Revolution - Sonu Nigam Live concert at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York on September 13. The performance featured Nigam reproducing both the male and female portions of the song, originally recorded by Nigam, Alisha Chinai and Mahalakshmi Iyer.
Nigam's ability to switch between vocal styles became the highlight of the performance as he delivered the different sections without the two original female singers on stage.
