India, Aug. 7 -- Soha Ali Khan and Saba Pataudi have shared why they were absent from their brother Saif Ali Khan's 1991 wedding to Amrita Singh, revealing that they were simply too young and were attending school when the couple tied the knot.
Too young to attend the wedding
Appearing on Double Date with Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, the sisters recalled that Saif got married while they were still students. Saba said she was around 15 years old, while Soha was just 13, making them too young to be part of the intimate wedding ceremony. They revealed they were in school when the marriage took place.
