India, Aug. 14 -- A federal lawsuit filed in Delaware has accused Selena Gomez, her mother Mandy Teefey and entrepreneur Daniella Pierson of misleading investors over their mental health startup, Wondermind. The investors are seeking to recover nearly $1.2 million, along with damages and other costs.
Allegations Against Wondermind
Wondermind was launched in 2021 as a mental fitness venture focused on reducing the stigma around mental health through digital content and wellness resources. According to the lawsuit, investors were encouraged to fund the company based on promises involving a dedicated mobile app, major advertising partnerships and celebrity-led initiatives.
