India, Aug. 20 -- The shoot of Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming crime thriller Police Company, starring Harshvardhan Rane, was halted for nearly five hours after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees intervened over payments allegedly pending to technicians and daily-wage workers for almost nine years.
FWICE Stops Shoot Over Old Dues
The disruption took place on August 17 at a set in Versova, where Police Company had begun filming. According to reports, the pending payments were linked to three of Varma's earlier projects, including Sarkar 3 and Officer.
