The debut directorial of a long-time Prem associate, Ravi Saranga, the film was produced by Ravi Verma. The film followed the promotional strategy of Raj's home production Su From So, focusing on paid premieres and word-of-mouth publicity from audiences rather than the team doing a gazillion interviews.
