India, Oct. 5 -- Pedro Pascal learned to play the cello for his starring role in Behemoth!, an upcoming film by Oscar-winning writer-director Tony Gilroy that explores how music connects a musician's past with his present.

A cellist caught between past and present

The film follows Alex Serian, a cellist who returns to Los Angeles to care for his dying mother and escape an overbearing former partner, played by Olivia Wilde. After arriving in the city, Alex joins an orchestra performing film scores, finding himself drawn into memories of experiences that have shaped his life.
