India, Sept. 11 -- A documentary examining the alleged systematic killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza received a record 25-minute standing ovation at the 2026 Venice Film Festival, drawing strong reactions after its premiere on Thursday.

NAZA, directed by Oscar-winning Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, premiered in competition at the 83rd Venice Film Festival. The audience applauded the filmmakers continuously for 25 minutes, reportedly surpassing the 23-minute ovation received by The Voice of Hind Rajab at last year's festival.
The film's reception has also placed it among the contenders for Venice's top prize. On the red carpet, spectators shouted contrasting slogans, including "Free Pales...
