India, Oct. 14 -- BAFTA-winning actor Naomi Ackie, who has featured in films including Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody, said she had to “audition hard” to be cast in DC’s psychological thriller movie Clayface, according to an Oct. 13, 2026 report of an exclusive chat with HTCity.

Ackie said Clayface brings together “DC and horror,” which she described as two of her favourite genres. She said the script was “complex and heartfelt,” elements she did not expect to be in the film.
