India, Aug. 5 -- As anticipation builds around Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, Adipurush writer Manoj Muntashir has appealed to audiences to avoid comparing the two films, while candidly acknowledging the shortcomings of his own project.

Speaking about the ongoing comparisons, Muntashir said there was no shame in admitting that Adipurush had failed to meet audience expectations.
