India, Aug. 11 -- Lyricist Manoj Muntashir has responded to AR Rahman's remarks about possible communal prejudice in Bollywood, questioning whether professional factors rather than religious identity could explain the composer's recent work opportunities. Muntashir also criticised Rahman for calling Chhaava a propaganda film after composing its music.

Speaking to Shubhankar Mishra on YouTube, Muntashir pointed to the achievements of prominent Muslim personalities in India, including former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin and Rahman himself.
