India, July 30 -- Actor Kirti Kulhari has lodged a police complaint after cyber criminals allegedly siphoned off Rs2.44 lakh through a series of unauthorized credit card transactions, adding to the growing list of digital financial fraud cases in Mumbai.
Fraud Detected Within Minutes
According to the complaint filed with Mumbai's Amboli Police, unidentified cyber criminals gained unauthorized access to Kulhari's mobile phone and credit card, carrying out multiple transactions within a short span. The total loss amounted to Rs2,43,852, prompting the actor to approach the police for legal action. Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation to trace those behind the fraud.
