India, Aug. 11 -- Karan Johar has revisited the backlash surrounding Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna nearly two decades after its release, recalling that some viewers were so uncomfortable with the film's portrayal of marital infidelity that a couple walked out midway through a screening. Johar has maintained that the 2006 drama was never intended to glorify extramarital relationships.
