India, Oct. 10 -- Rishab Shetty's Kantara prequel, Kantara Chapter 1 has, no doubt, had a phenomenal 1st week at the box office. The film, which released officially on October 2, 2025, had, by its second Thursday, broken into the Rs 500 cr club, with the makers officially announcing that the week 1 worldwide gross of Kantara Chapter 1 was Rs 509 cr. As of Day 8, the film's domestic gross stood at Rs 403 cr, with the overseas market contributing a little over Rs 100 cr only so far.
